James Prevot

James Ronald Pluto Prevot entered this life on February 21, 1949. He was born in Mansura, LA. He departed this life on 06172013. James was the oldest of three sons, born to Willie Mae Prevot. James grew up in Mansura Louisiana. Shortly after high school graduation he enlisted and proudly served his country in the Vietnam War. He later returned to live with his family in Patterson, Louisiana. He was employed with McDermott Shipping as a welder and worked there until retirement. He was a man of strong Christian beliefs, very devoted to his church in Patterson, and well known for his dedicated service. James worked many years as a dedicated volunteer fireman in Patterson, LA and recently in Mansura, LA. He worked passionately in the area of Emergency Preparedness.
James is preceded in death by his Mother, Willie Mae Prevot and two brothers, Ralph and Carlos Prevot. He leaves to mourn, a host of first cousins who love him dearly, family members, colleagues, and many friends.
