Jane Desselle

Funeral services for Jane Lacour Desselle "Mi Mi", will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 11:00am in St. Peter Catholic Church in Bordelonville. Visitaion will take place in the church hall on Friday, August 14, 2015 from 5:00pm until 10:00pm with a Christian Wake Service at 7:00pm. The hall will re-open at 8:00am Saturday until the time of service. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Jane Desselle, age 77, a resident of Bordelonville died Monday, August 10, 2015 at Our Lady of The Lake Medical Center in Baton Rouge, LA.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel J. Desselle; parents, Edward and Lorena (Lemoine) Lacour; sisters, Vivian Rabalais, Narcille Ducote, and Betty Desselle; brothers, Garner Lacour, Merlin Lacour, Edward Lacour, Jr., Ray Lacour, and Marvin Lacour.

Survivors include three daughters, Lisa Maheu of Abita Springs, Monica Bordelon of Dutchtown and Michelle Jeansonne of Moreauville; one son, Kevin Desselle of Ponchatoula; three sisters, Launa Lacour of Moreauville, Katie Desselle of Bordelonville and Shirley Ducote of Cottonport; eight grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and two step grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Desselle, Craig Bordelon, Lauren Maheu, Jessica Bordelon, Daniel Desselle, Chris Johnson, Jamie Jeansonne, and J.T. Scudari.

Funeral services are under the direction of Escude' Funeral Home of Mansura.
