Jane Pate

Services for Jane Ruth Pate, 34, of Baton Rouge, La. will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Escude Funeral Home of Simmesport with Rev. Larry Oliver and Bro. Mark Patterson officiating. Burial will follow at the Tree of Calvary Church Cemetery in Lettsworth, under the direction of Escude Funeral Home of Simmesport.

Ms. Pate passed away on Sunday, March 14, 2010 at Baton Rouge General Medical Center. She is preceded in death by her father, James Blackwell brother, Leburn Batiste.

Those left to cherish Janes memory are her mother, Luella Batiste of Baton Rouge, LA. sisters, Receiver Williams of Simmesport, LA., Rosetta Ivory of Mansura, LA., Ida Mae Batiste, Vera Mae Batiste, Janetta Isah and husband Haruna all of Baton Rouge, LA. brothers, Ervin Batiste, Jr. of New Orleans, LA., Leon Ivory of Mansura, LA., Edward Batiste, Jr. of Spokane, WA., Vernon Lee Batiste, and Maryland Batiste both of Baton Rouge, LA. She is also survived by a host of numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2010 beginning at 9 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 11 a.m. at Escude Funeral Home of Simmesport.
