Funeral service for Jane Eva Wilson of Mansura beginning at 11:00am on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Escude Funeral Home in Mansura with Rev. Lawrence Porterie officiating. Burial will follow at the St. Paul Cemeterty in Mansura. 

Jane Eva Wilson, age 87, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2025, at her home in Mansura.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Delores Gonzales, Shannon Wilson; grandchildren: Kim Jones, Sharell Gonzales, Angie Jones, Jeremiah Gonzales, Shawn Jones, Ifunanya Okafor, Ifaenyi Okafor, Kendal Gonzales, and Kelen Gonzales; her siblings, Newman Batiste, Marcisse Batiste, Rosa Lee Batiste, Mickey Batiste.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Preston Batiste and Poline Mayeaux Batiste; husband, Thadio Wilson; children, Vincent Gonzales, Ronald Gonzales, Dr. Bridget Wilson, and Diane Jones. 

Visitation will begin at 8:00am until 11:00am on Saturday, March 8. 2025, at Escude Funeral Home in Mansura.
