Funeral services for Janelle Michel of Moreauville will take place at the Christ the King Catholic Church of Simmesport on Thursday, August 25, 2011, beginning at 10:00am. Visitations will be held at the Escud Funeral Home of Simmesport on Wednesday, August 24, 2011, from 5:00pm to 10:00pm and will resume Thursday morning at 8:00am. Burial services will commence at the Christ the King Catholic Cemetery.
Janelle Michel, age 71, passed away at the Grace Home Hospice Center in Alexandria on Monday, August 22, 2011. She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Michel parents, Ernest L. Esla Michel sister, Nancy Cospor brother, Lynn Desselle. She is survived by her sons, Roy A. Michel, Jr. and wife Donna of Simmesport, Heath Michel and wife Angel of Simmesport, Gregory Michel, Sr. and wife Katie of Fifthward daughter, Doreen Laborde and husband Jason of Hamburg sister, Doris Clouitie and husband Milton of Prairieville brothers, Ronald Desselle and wife Helen of Zachary, Jules Desselle of Baton Rouge, Phillip Desselle and wife Peggy of Denham Springs, Ernest Desselle, Jr. and wife Melanie of Bordelonville, John Desselle and wife Denise. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren two greatgrandchildren.
Services and arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
