Funeral services for Janette Lynn Filipi of Hessmer will take place at the Escud Funeral Home of Mansura on Saturday, January 14, 2012, beginning at 11:00am with Rev. Bobby Cazelot officiating. Visitations will also be held at the funeral home, beginning on Friday, January 13, 2012, from 5:00pm to 11:00pm and will resume Saturday morning at 8:00am. Burial services will commence at the St. Joseph Cemetery. Janette Filipi, age 50, passed away at her home on Thursday, January 12, 2012. She is preceded in death by her brother, Jeffery Lacombe. She is survived by her; children, Nancy Savoy of Belledeau, T-Wayne Gagnard of Brouillette, Anthony Scott Gagnard of Brouillette, Aaron Paul Gagnard of Brouillette; parents, Morris Wayne Ethel Lee Lacombe of Hessmer; brother, Louis Filipi of Vick; sisters, Susan Lachney of Fifthward, Melissa Lacombe of Hessmer, Roxanne Brevelle of Marksville, Stephany Dauzat of Marksville; and seven grandchildren. Services and arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
