Funeral services for Janette Ponthieux Villemarette of Marksville will be held at the St. Joseph Catholic Church of Marksville on Wednesday, July 31, 2013, beginning at 10:00am. Visitation will take place at the Escud Funeral Home of Mansura on Tuesday evening from 6:00pm to 9:00pm and will resume Wednesday morning at 8:00am. Burial will commence at the St. Joseph Cemetery 2 Mausoleum.
Janette Villemarette, age 74, passed away at her home in Marksville on Monday, July 29, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, Terry J. Villemarette parents, Ury Anthony Lessie Desselle Ponthieux. She is survived by her son, Joseph Keith Villemarette of Marksville sisters, Jane P. Escud of Mansura Joanne Smith of Effie grandchildren, Nikki Mose of Plaucheville, James Joseph Villemarette of Hessmer, Austin Francois of Hessmer and one greatgrandchild, Zeke Daniel Mose. Pallbearers for the service will include: James Villemarette, Hunter Ebey, Todd Rabalais, Frank Mose, Bobby Charrier, Brad Charrier.
Service and arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
