Funeral services for Janie Vaccaro of Simmesport will be held at the Escude Funeral Home in Simmesport on Saturday, July 18, 2009 beginning at 1:00pm. Visitations will also be held at Escude Funeral Home in Simmesport starting at 10:00 am until time of the funeral. Burial will take place at the Christ the King Cemetery in Simmesport. Janie Vaccaro, age 78, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2009 at the Our Lady of the Lake Medical Center. She is preceded in death by her; husband, John Lewis Vaccaro; parents, Ray Isabelle Fortner Gibson. She is survived by her; daughters, Erraina husband Bill Wilson of Lecompte, Vanessa husband Allen Kimble of Simmesport, sons John L. wife Dianne Vaccaro, III of New Roads, Mike R. wife Judi Vaccaro of New Roads, Walter Keith wife Linda Vaccaro of Simmesport, Charles F. wife Patti Vaccaro of Zachary. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren eleven great-grandchildren. Funeral services and arrangements are under the directions of Escude Funeral Home.
