Funeral services for Jannel Lambert of Hessmer will take place at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church of Hessmer on Thursday, November 11, 2010, beginning at 10:00am. Visitations will be held at the Escude Funeral Home of Mansura on Wednesday, November 10, 2010, from 5:00pm to 9:00pm, and will resume Thursday morning at 8:00am. Burial services will commence at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Mausoleum.
Jannel Lambert, age 83, passed away at the Hessmer Nursing Home on Monday, November 8, 2010. She is preceded in death by her parents, Foster Evelyn Bordelon Mayeux, Sr. brothers, Foster Mayeux, Jr., Carl Mayeux, Sr. sisters, Anna Rhea Mayeux, Bernadine Cooper, Doris Janet. She is survived by her husband, Anthony Lambert of Hessmer daughters, Vicki Douglas husband John of Marksville, Margaret Mayeux husband Ronald of Hessmer grandchildren, Eric Mayeux, Jill Paul, Kipp Mayeux, Toni Dubroc, Warren Douglas greatgrandchildren, Tory Parks, Ryne Mayeux, Tyler Gagnard, Allyson Douglas.
