Funeral services for Jennie Mae Fruge of Hessmer will be held on Monday, December 07, 2009 at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church of Hessmer, beginning at 10:00am with Fr. Edwin Rodriguez-Hernandez officiating. Visitations will be held at the Escude Funeral Home of Mansura on Sunday, December 6, 2009, beginning at 2:00pm and lasting until time of service on Monday. A rosary will be cited at 5:00pm Sunday evening. Jennie Mae Fruge, age 71, passed away at her home on Friday, December 4, 2009. She is preceded in death by her; husband, Eddis Fruge, Sr.; parents, Bennette Mills, Sr. Irma Mills; brother, Ludger Mills; daughter, Melissa Gaspard; grandson, Sean Gaspard. She is survived by her; daughters, Shirley Monceaux of Mansura, Jo Ann Reynolds of Deville; sons, Eddis Fruge, Jr. of Hessmer, Michael Dauzat of Hessmer; brothers, Bennette Mills, Jr. of Hessmer, Ray Mills of Denham Springs, Roy Mills of Myrtle Grove; sister, Mevelyn Comeaux of Hessmer. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren 9 great-grandchildren. Services and funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
