Jenny Lee Bordelon

Jenny Lee Bordelon, age 92, has passed away following a very long illness with dementia at the Bayou Chateau Nursing home of Simmesport on Wednesday, June 26th, 2024. Born on January 9th, 1932, she was a lifelong resident of Simmesport.

Jenny was preceded in death by her husband, Elbray J. “Junior” Bordelon., and her two sons, Chester Lee and Ellis Joseph Bordelon. She was the last of sisters, Clara, Dean, Vella Ann and brothers, Ernest and Hansel Bordelon. 

Those left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Fay Dupont, numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Jenny was known for baking bread and her little chihuahua dogs. She is being cremated and will not have a wake or service at this time. We will have a graveside memorial later for the family.
