Funeral services for Jerry Wylene Shaffett will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at 2pm at the Refuge Baptist Church of Echo, LA with Bro. Adam Thornton Bro. David Trimbur officiating. Burial will follow at the Wise Chapel Cemetery in Ruby, LA. Visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 beginning at 9am until the time of service.
Ms. Wylene, age 58, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2013. She was born to the union of Tom Ed Helma Hubbs Shaffett on July 26, 1954. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Joseph Cowboy Guillory, her parents, and her sister Wanda Booty.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Jeffery Wayne Shaffett Jessica daughter, Jessica Brown Randal brother, Tommy Shaffett sister, Dorothy Cavin stepsons, Craig, Ricky, Glenn, and Eddie Guillory stepdaughters, Stephanie Francois, Lisa Cooper, Shane Guillory, Wanda Carter, and Connie Sheehan grandchildren, Kourtney, Hannah, and Cady Brown, Brett and Claire Shaffett. She is also survived by numerous stepgrandchildren, stepgreatgrandchildren, nieces and nephew, Charles.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Charles Booty, Brian Lott, Nicholas Guillory, Tyler Mills, Joseph Dauzat, and Donovan Guillory. Honorary Pallbearers include Steve Dartez, Troy Alello, and Jebeau Sheehan.
