Funeral services for Jimmy Chatelain of Mansura will be held at 9:30am on Saturday, July 7, 2012 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Mansura with Father Chad Partain officiating. Burial will be in the St. Paul Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Friday, July 6, 2012, from 5pm to 10pm at Escud Funeral Home in Mansura.
Jimmy Chatelain, an Army Veteran at the age of 64, passed away on Thursday, July 5, 2012 at his residence in Mansura.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Chatelain and Lucille Guillory Chatelain sister, Karen Lemoine. He is survived by one son, Todd Chatelain of Ville Platte, three daughters, Jaimi Chatelain of Austin, TX., Erin Dukes of Pineville and Kacey Gagnard of Las Vegas, NV. He is also survived by three brothers, Daniel Chatelain of Mansura, Michael Chatelain and Jerome Chatelain both of Hessmer, three sisters, Deanna Beach of Mansura, Shiree Laborde of Moreauville and Brenda Chatelain of New Orleans.
Services and arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
