MANSURA-Services for Joan Boniol Manuel will be held on Thursday, January 3, 2008, at St. Paul Catholic Church, Mansura, LA at 11:00 AM with Fr. Chad Partain officiating. Interment will be in St. Paul Catholic Cemetery. Mrs. Manuel, 77, of Mansura, died at Avoyelles Hospital, Marksville on Monday December 31, 2007 at 8:14 PM. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Mansura. Survivors include 2 daughters Lisa Manuel Bordelon husband Wayne of Lafayette and Charlotte Manuel Wilson husband Shawn of Parrish, AL. Grandsons Layne Michael Bordelon of Lafayette, Nathan Wilson of Parrish, AL; granddaughter Callie Ann Bordelon of Lafayette, LA. She is preceded by her husband Vernon Manuel, son Jimmy Ray Grundy, Father Louis Boniol and Mother, Emily Gaillard Boniol. Visitation was at Escude Funeral Home, Mansura on Wednesday January 2, 2008 at 5:00 PM until 10:00 PM. Thursday January 3, 2008 at 9:00 AM until time of services. Rosary was recited at Escude Funeral Home on Wednesday at 6:30 PM. Escude Funeral Home of Mansura in charge of arrangements.
