Funeral Mass for Joanne Gremillion Taylor of Plaucheville will begin at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church in Plaucheville with Fr. Martin Laird officiating. Entombment will be held at Mater Dolorosa Cemetery.

Joanne Gremillion Taylor, age 64, passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2023, at Ochsner Medical Center in Lafayette.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Brittany Marie Taylor (Landon) and Bryce Anthony Taylor; mother, Carmeleet Gremillion; siblings, Karen Lemoine (Samuel) of Moreauville, Terrill Gremillion of Plaucheville, Brian Gremillion of Plaucheville, Cheryl Cook of Gonzales, Michelle Gremillion of Dupont, Amy Gremillion (Bryan) of Lafayette, and Rusty Gremillion of Pensacola, FL, and her sweet dog Bandit. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Keith Taylor; and father, Russell Gremillion.

Joanne worked with special children her entire career, she had a passion for working with them alongside her coworkers who made her job so enjoyable. She was also a devout Catholic and stood firm in her faith. She attended mass faithfully and served the church and school for many years. She was loved by all who knew her and will be remembered as a loving mother, wife, and friend.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm until 10:00 pm on Monday, March 27, 2023, and resume at 8:00 am until 11:30 am on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at Escude Funeral Home in Moreauville.
