Funeral services for Johanna Daigle Laborde, resident of Baton Rouge & native of Lettsworth, will be held on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at Escude Funeral Home in Simmesport beginning at 12pm with Fr. Dwight DeJesus officating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 beginning at 8am until time of service at Escude Funeral Home in Simmesport. Interment will be at a later date at the Christ the King Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
Johanna Laborde, age 61, passed away on Friday, January 29, 2016 at Heritage House #2 in Baton Rouge. She was preceded in death by her father, Vorise Jeansonne; mother, Aline Jeansonne Creger; step-father, Ray Creger.
Those left to cherish her memory is her son, John Michael Laborde; sisters, Dianne Bordelon of Erwinville and Carolyn Graham of Pineville; brothers: Arnold Jeansonne of Erwinville, Donnie Jeansonne of Bordelonville, and Gene Jeansonne of Phoenix, AZ. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
