John Bowman

Funeral services for John E. Bowman of Simmesport will take place at the Escud Funeral Home of Simmesport on Monday, January 23, 2012, beginning at 10:00am. Visitations will be held on Sunday, January 22, 2012 at the Escud Funeral Home of Simmesport, beginning at 5:00pm and will last all night until time of service Monday morning. Burial services will commence at the Gunnells Cemetery.
John Bowman, age 79, passed away at his home in Simmesport on Saturday, January 21, 2012. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Debra Dale Nobe parents, Alma Beulah Mayers Bowman. He is survived by his wife, Katherine Gunnells Bowman of Simmesport daughters, Wanda Davis of Houma, Etta Jernigan of Houma, Paula Falgout of Houma, Cordette Moreau of Morganza brother, Earl Bowman of Lettsworth sisters, Vernelle Leger of Simmesport, Bonnie Byrd of Slidell. He is also survived by his twelve grandchildren twentyfive greatgrandchildren. Pallbearers will be: Arthur L Hebert, John Paul Hebert, Thomas Peanut Jernigan, Rodney Davis, Raymond Gunnells, Williams Gunnells, Tyler Bonnette.
