John Day, Sr.

Funeral services for John Albert Day, Sr. of Cottonport will be held at the Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church of Mansura on Saturday, November 20, 2010, beginning at 10:30am. Visitations will take place at the Escude Funeral Home of Mansura on Friday, November 19, 2010, from 5:00pm to 10:00pm, and will resume Saturday morning at 8:00am. Burial services will commence at the St. Paul Catholic Cemetery.
John Day, Sr., age 80, passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2010. He is preceded in death by his parents Joseph Benita Benjamin Day. He is survived by his daughters, Georgia Bradford, Gwen Bradford, Edna Day, Diana Thomas, Margaret Day Eggins sons, Leon Day, Felix Day, John Day, Jr., Tony Day special friends Eloise Augustine Louis Fredrick Hill. He is also survived by his fortytwo grandchildren sixty greatgrandchildren.
