John Dupas, Sr.

Funeral services for John Dupas, Sr. of Marksville will take place at the Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church of Mansura on Saturday, September 3, 2011, beginning at 1:00pm. Visitations will be held at the Escud Funeral Home of Mansura prior to the funeral service, beginning at 9:00am. Burial services will commence at the St. Paul Catholic Cemetery.
John Dupas, age 86, passed away at the Veterans Hospital of Pineville on Tuesday, August 30, 2011. He is preceded in death by his parents, Wallace Berdia Sampson Dupas brothers, Augustine William Dupas, Sr., Andrew Willis Dupas, Robert Dupas sister, Theresa Margie Linden. He is survived by his children, Ora Mae Dupas, John Dupas, Jr., Eddie Andrew Dupas cousin, Monica Johnson brother, James Demouy sisters, Josephine Batiste, Mary Clara Pembric, Margret Murry, Madalene Ann White, Rosalie Chark, Bernice Dupas, Mary Ruth Prier. He is also survived by five grandchildren eleven greatgrandchildren.
