Funeral services for John Marvin Johnson of Hessmer will take place at the St. Paul Catholic Church of Mansura on Thursday, October 17, 2013, beginning at 11:00am with Father Irion St. Romain officiating. Visitation will take place at the morning at the Escud Funeral Home of Mansura from 7:00am to 11:00am. Burial will commence at the St. Bernard Memorial Mausoleum in Chalmette.
John Marvin Johnson, age 73, passed away at his home in Hessmer on Saturday, October 12, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Bonita Ann Johnson brother, Mike Johnson sister, Martha Courville. He is survived by his wife, Antonina Toni Greco Johnson of Hessmer son, Zack John Johnson of Hessmer brothers, Lawrence Johnson of Missouri, Charles Johnson of Cottonport, Nolan Johnson of Mansura, Robert Johnson of Mansura, and Kenneth Johnson of Baton Rouge sisters, Peggy Bordelon of Mansura and Linda Morgan of Cottonport.
