John Roy

Funeral services for John Martin Roy of Mansura will take place at the St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church of Mansura on Saturday, January 4, 2014, beginning at 10:00am with Father Irion St. Romain officiating. Visitation will be held at the Escud Funeral Home of Mansura on Friday, January 3, 2014 from 4:00pm to 9:00pm and will resume Saturday morning. Burial services will commence at the St. Paul Catholic Mausoleum.
John Roy, age 90, passed away at the Avoyelles Hospital on Marksville on Wednesday, January 1, 2014. He was preceded in death by his wife, Laura Simpson Roy parents, Roderick Bertha Mayeux Roy and brother, Roland Roy. He is survived by his children, Pat Cane and her late husband, Steve Cane of Baton Rouge John Roy and wife Cheryl of Baton Rouge sister, Cheryl Walton and husband James Turk of Charleston, SC son, Wayne Roy and wife Susan of Katy, TX. He is also survived by his fifteen grandchildren numerous greatgrandchildren.
Services and arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
