Funeral service for Johnny Paul Jones of Marksville will take place at the Holy Ghost Catholic Church of Marksville on Saturday, February 2, 2013, beginning at 11:00am. Visitation will also take place at the church that morning, from 9:00am to 11:00am. Burial services will commence at the Holy Ghost Catholic Cemetery.
Johnny Jones, age 72, passed away at the Avoyelles Hospital on Monday, January 21, 2013. He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul Amelia Jones brother, Semon Jones sisters, Eura Lee White Germaine Vaughn. He is survived by his sister, Ellen Jacobs of Marksville brother, Joseph Jones of Colfax daughter, Nita Kay Jones of Oklahoma grandchildren nieces, Marie Jacobs, Kimberly Greenhouse. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
