Johnny Savage

Funeral services for Johnny L. "Beaver" Savage will be held on Monday, July 2, 2018 beginning at 10:00am in the Bayou Jack Church of Christ. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Sunday, July 1, 2018 and continue all night until time of service on Monday. Burial will follow in the Bayou Jack Church of Christ Cemetery.
Mr. Savage, 82 and a resident of Dupont died at his residence on June 28, 2018. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, devoted husband, father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sylvester and Ola Willis Savage; sons Johnny Keith and Gerald Savage.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 63 years, Faye Savage of Dupont; daughters, Brenda Tarpley of Tickfaw and Tresa Clark of Texas City, TX; sisters, Gloria Lemoine of Dupont and Bobby Dupuy of Florine; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Escude Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
