Joseph Adams

Funeral services for Joseph Adams of Simmesport will take place on Saturday, December 18, 2010 at Christ the King Catholic Church of Simmesport, beginning at 1:00pm. Visitations will be held at Escude Funeral Home of Simmesport, prior to the funeral service, beginning Friday, December 17, 2010 at 6:00pm. The Visitation will be all night with a rosary service beginning at 6:30 pm. Burial services will commence at the Christ the King Cemetery in Simmesport.
Joseph Adams, age 26, passed away on Thursday, December 16, 2010. He was very much loved by everyone that crossed his path, and will truly be missed by all. He will be remembered for his love of hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. He will also be remembered for the excitement he had watching Dallas Cowboys football. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Albert Judge Grace Kimble, and Charley F. Adams, Sr. He is survived by his parents , Anita Mayeaux of Marksville and Jimmy Adams of Simmesport brothers, Devin Adams of Simmesport, Christopher Dupont , Jr. of Mansura, and Cody Gunnells of New Orleans sisters, Paige Adams and Ciera Dupont both of Marksville Grandparents, Lynn Natalie Scallan, and Edison Mayeaux, Sr. all of Plaucheville. He is also survived by his girlfriend and her son, Haley Arnouville and Brandon Bird, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and life long friends. Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be his brothers and close family.
