Funeral services for Joseph Berry, Jr. take place at the Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church of Moreauville on Saturday, November 3, 2012, beginning at 11:00am with Father Martin Laird officiating. Visitation will be held at the Escud Funeral Home of Moreauville on Saturday morning, from 9:00am to 11:00am. Burial services will commence at the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Joseph Berry, Jr., age 88, passed away at the Avoyelles Hospital on Friday, October 26, 2012. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Lena Johnson Berry, Sr. sisters, Marie Smith, Cecile Berry brother, Assic Berry. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Berry of Moreauville children, Ellen Berry of Baton Rouge, Sterling Johnson of Plano, TX, Gwendolyn Preston of Baton Rouge, Rainne Johnson of Sacramento, CA. He is also survived by his five grandchildren.
