Funeral services for Joseph Everton Deshotel, Jr. of Goudeau will take place at the St. Charles Catholic Church on Friday, June 18, 2010, beginning at 11:00am. Visitations will take place at the Escude Funeral Home of Cottonport on Thursday, June 17, 2010, from 5:00pm to 9:00pm, and will resume Friday morning at the St. Charles Catholic Church Hall, from 8:00am until time of services. Burial services will commence at the St. Charles Catholic Cemetery.
Joseph Deshotel, Jr., age 74, passed away at his home on Wednesday, June 16, 2010. He is preceded in death by his mother, Elvira Deshotel brother, Gerald Deshotel sister, Cheryl Walton. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Deshotel of Goudeau father, Everton Deshotel, Sr. of Plaucheville daughter, Wanda and husband Frank Noto, Sr. of Liberty, MS. sisters, Betty Marino of Baton Rouge, Shirley Falcon of Prairieville grandson, Lance Ducote of Robert stepgrandchildren, Frank Noto, Jr. Paul Noto of Liberty, MS. Pallbearers will include: Bryan Collins, Michael Ortego, Troy Dufour, Otis Deshotels, Eddie Lemoine, Barry Dufour.
