Funeral services for Joseph Chris Murray of Mansura will take place at the Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church of Mansura on Thursday, October 10, 2013, beginning at 11:00am with Fr. Martin Laird officiating. Visitation will be held at the Escud Funeral Home of Mansura that same morning from 8:00am to 11:00am. Burial will commence at the St. Paul Catholic Cemetery.
Joseph Murray, age 59, passed away at the Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital on Wednesday, October 2, 2013. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Christilla Williams parents, Hillary, Sr. Isabella Murray brother, Joseph Vallery Murray and aunt, Alberta Blackman. He is survived by his children, Tykesha Herbert of Hessmer, Kelvin Bradford of Cottonport, Larry Cooper of Mansura, Joseph Williams of Marksville brothers, Morris Roland Murray of Mansura, Hillary Murray, Jr. of Detroit, MI sister, Lady Jean Prier of Mansura and aunt, Leona Sampson of Mansura. He is also survived by his six grandchildren.
