Joseph R. Rabalais, age 84, passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at Bayou Chateau Nursing Home in Simmesport.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Rene' Rabalais; daughter, Ava Williams; brother, Dean Rabalais; three grandchildren, Betty Diaz, Joshua Rabalais, and April Ancira; and 18 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his son, Wayne Rabalais; parents, Wiley and Ann Rabalais; sister, Genevive Cora; and brothers, Russell Rabalais, Savoy Rabalais, and Raymond Rabalais.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
