Joshua Laborde

Funeral services for Joshua Paul Laborde of Opelousas will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 beginning at 2pm at the St. Mary's Assumption Catholic Church in Cottonport with Fr. Walter Ajaero officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 beginning at 9am until 2pm at the Escude Funeral Home in Cottonport. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
Joshua Laborde, age 27, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2015. He was preceded in death by his father, Rickey Laborde and paternal grandparents, Robert & Bernice Laborde.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of eight years, Mayghan R. Laborde; four daughters, Alexa Grace, Samantha Lynne, Carlee Rae, Peyton Elise and son, Kain Michael all of Opelousas; mother, Dawn S. Bain of Lafayette; sister, Victoria Hodges of Carencro; brother, Trent & London Laborde of Fifthward; maternal grandparents, Carroll & Margaret Sanders. Father-in-law & mother-in-law, Todd & Lisa Rivers; brother-in-law & sister-in-law, Morgan & Alishabeth Rivers; nieces, Rylee Laborde and Jennings Rivers; nephews, Drake Laborde, Jackson Rivers, and Issac Rivers. Joshua is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Trent Laborde, Trent Gremillion, John Laborde, Chris Laborde, Marks Gaspard, Brennen Chenevert, Morgan Rivers, and Brady Meche.
