Joyce Burke

Funeral Mass for Joyce Burke of Mansura will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2018 beginning at 1pm at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church with Fr. Irion St. Romain officiating. Visitation will begin on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 10am until 1pm at the Escude Funeral Home in Mansura with Rosary at 12pm. Entombment will be held at St. Paul Mausoleum. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.

Joyce Burke, age 90, passed away on Thursday, August 3, 2018 at Riviere de Soleil Community Care Center in Mansura. She was an activity coordinator at Rio Sol Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ferdinand & Gertrude Claverie; husband, Joseph Burke; and daughters, Theresa Burke Lacombe & Janice Burke Mestaver.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sister, Barbara Claverie Gauthier. She is also survived by six grandchildren: Stephen Lacombe, Terry Lacombe, Stacey Toomer, Travis Lacombe, Jaime Martin, & Kyle Mestayer, Jr.; nineteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
