Funeral services for Joyce Marie Dobison of Cottonport will be held at the Little Zion Baptist Church of Longbridge on Saturday, January 8, 2011, beginning at 12:00pm. Visitations will also take place at the church, prior to the funeral, beginning at 10:00am. Burial services will commence at the Little Zion Baptist Cemetery.
Joyce Dobison, age 61, passed away at her home on Thursday, December 30, 2010. She is preceded in death by her sisters, Susie Mae Augustine, Naomia Kyle brothers, Lincoln Laurent, Clement Laurent. She is survived by her daughters, Stephanie Laurent, Shanell Laurent, Victoria Laurent, all of Cottonport sisters, Majestic Hagger of Mansura, Rachel Hall, Geraldine Benjamin, Velmarie Wells, all of Cottonport brothers, Nathan Laurent, Lonis Laurent, both of Cottonport. She is also survived by her five grandchildren four greatgrandchildren.
Services and funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
