Funeral visitation for Joyce Jeansonne Lemoine of Plaucheville will be held on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 beginning at 10am at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church in Plaucheville. Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 9am at the church. Interment will commence at the Mater Dolorosa Mausoleum. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
Joyce Jeansonne Lemoine, age 88, passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Valley View Nursing Home in Marksville. She was preceded in death by her son, Eddie J. Lemoine; husband, Clifton J. Lemoine, Jr.; parents, Arthur & Elise Jeansonne; & sister, Rhea Armand.
Those left to cherish her memory are her brother, Miller Jeansonne of Plaucheville; daughter-in-law, Charlene Lemoine of Cottonport; granddaughter, Jacqueline Lemoine (Daniel) of Cottonport; grandsons, Jeremy Lemoine (Lindsay) of Denham Springs & Eric Lemoine (Brenda) of Gonzales; seven great-grandchildren: Kayla, Sarah, Rachel, Kole, Christine, Hailee, & Cade; one great-great-grandchild, Ashlynn. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made for Masses to be said in Mrs. Joyce's name.
