Jude Gauthier

Funeral Mass for Jude Herbert Gauthier of Cottonport will begin at 10:00am on Friday, December 6, 2024, at St. Mary’s Assumption Catholic Church in Cottonport with Fr. Charlie Ray officiating. Entombment will follow at the St. Mary’s Mausoleum. 

Jude H. Gauthier, age 57, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2024, at the Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, LA. 

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Tonya Comeaux Gauthier of Cottonport; daughter, Alyce Bonnette (Andrew) of Cottonport; son, Zachary Gauthier (Regan) of Alexandria; sisters, Theresa “Terri” Gauthier Gray and Patricia “Patty” Gauthier; grandchildren, Evelyn Bonnette and Hattie Bonnette. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert Gauthier and Loretta Briley Gauthier. 

Visitation will begin at 5:00pm until 9:00pm on Thursday, December 5, 2024, with rosary prayer at 6:30pm at the Escude Funeral Home in Cottonport. Visitation will resume at 8:00am until 9:15am on Friday, December 6, 2024, at Escude Funeral Home in Cottonport. A Rosary will begin at 9:30am at St. Mary’s Assumption Catholic Church followed by Funeral Mass on Friday, December 6, 2024. 

Those honored to be pallbearers are Zachary Gauthier, Andrew Bonnette, Barry Briley, Brian Briley, Ray Briley, and Darren Lemoine.
