Jules Lemoine

Funeral mass for Jules C. Teeny Lemoine, Sr. will be held on Friday, November 8, 2013 beginning at 10:30am at the St. Marys Assumption Catholic Church of Cottonport. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2013 beginning at 5pm until 7pm at the Escud Funeral Home in Cottonport. Burial will be at the St. Marys No. 2 Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
Jules C. Teeny Lemoine, Sr. was born on May, 14, 1926 and died on November 5, 2013 11:50am at the Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria. He was 87, a native of Cottonport, La. and a resident of Marksville, La. since 1981. Mr. Lemoine joined the Navy 194446 World War II, retired from U.S. Geological Survey as a Cartographer, member of St. Marys Catholic Church of Cottonport, member of Spring Bayou Restoration Team, Marksville VFW and American Legion. He loved Spring Bayou and all of his wonderful neighbors who always looked after him whenever he had problems. He also enjoyed feeding the birds and watching the wildlife.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Bernice Brown son Jules Bo Lemoine, Jr., St. Petersburg, FL two brothers: Richard Don Lemoine, Excelsior Springs, MO and William Nippy Lemoine, New Roads, LA and his parents Hilary and Viola Pete Lemoine, Excelsior Springs, MO.
Survivors include his sister Emma Jacobs Mike and brother Mikal Lemoine Judy of Bella Vista, AR son Curtis C. Lemoine Rita, granddaughter Katherine both of Decatur, TX and daughter Nanette Pritchett of Alexandria, LA grandson Brad Andes Wendy of Gorum, LA grandson Richard Lemoine of Grand Junction, CO stepgrandson John Pritchett Sheila of Brusly, LA greatgrandson Bailey Andes, stepgreatgranddaughter Tessa Coutee of Gorum, LA stepgreatgranddaughters Chelsea and Baylea Pritchett both of Brusly, LA sisterinlaws Mary Ellen Thevenot Lemoine of Fairhope, AL and Karen Lemoine of Excelsor Springs, MO.
