Juliana Ducote

Funeral services for Juliana "Julie" Ducote of Hessmer will be held on Monday, June 1, 2015 beginning at 10:30am at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Hessmer with Fr. Edwin Rodriguez-Hernandez officiating. Visitation will be held at the Escude Funeral Home in Mansura on Sunday, May 31, 2015 beginning at 5pm until 10pm and will resume Monday morning at 8am. Entombment will be in the St. Alphonsus Mausoleum in Hessmer. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
Juliana Ducote, age 68, passed away on Friday, May 29, 2015 at her home in Hessmer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Murke & Ethel Duplechin and her brother, Harvey Duplechin.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Terrell Ducote of Hessmer; niece, Priscilla Charrier of Hessmer; and her nephew, Jerome Duplechin of Marksville.
Mrs. Juliana worked at the Production Credit Association for 24 years as a secretary and she also worked for School Bus Operator Association for 15 years. Julie and her husband are avid dog lovers, taking in all kinds of breeds. She will be missed dearly by family and friends.
