Funeral Mass for Katherine Tassin Lemoine of Bordelonville will take place at the St. Peter’s Catholic Church of Bordelonville on Monday, April 12th, 2021 beginning at 12:00pm with Rev. Louis Sklar officiating. Burial will take place at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery No 2.

Katherine Lemoine, age 64, passed away at the Christus St. Francis Cabrini Hospital of Alexandria on Wednesday, April 7th, 2021.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Ronald Lemoine of Moreauville; daughters, Heidi Bordelon (Brian) of Marksville and Kayla Gaspard (T-Paul) of Marksville; step-daughters, Mary (John) Guidroz of Moreauville and Melissa Lemoine of North Carolina; sisters, Edna Cannon (Samuel) of Carencro and Frances Gongre (Ed) of Shreveport; brothers, Chris Tassin (Angie) of Marksville. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Lauren Bordelon, Bronson Bordelon, and Hunter Gaspard all of Marksville; step-grandchildren, Blaine Guidroz, Brittany Guidroz, Caleb Miller, Payton Miller, Jacob Guidroz, Matthew Guidroz, Tobey Guidroz, all of Moreauville, Catherine Coco of Batchelor, and Devin Johnson of Mississippi; and 3 great-grandchildren, Ross B. Shelton, Weston Guidroz, Kayde Miller and Abby Coco.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Grace Desselles Tassin; and her sisters, Lurline Dubea, Provosty Tassin, Adine Miller.

Visitation will be held at the St. Peter Catholic Church Hall of Bordelonville from 8:00am to 12:00pm on Monday, April 12th, 2021. A rosary will be recited before mass at 11:30am. The family request to those who attend the services for Katherine please wear purple or have something on their person that is purple in honor of Katherine's favorite color.
