Services for Mr. Kent Hukins will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, October 16, 2007 at St. Mary's Assumption Catholic Church, Cottonport with Father Anthony Dhamaral Fr. Raj officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery 2 in Cottonport. Mr. Kent Hukins, age 59, of Cottonport died at home October 14, 2007. Survivors include his wife, Patricia and two sons, Shane and his wife Kristin, Kelly and his wife Shannon, seven grandchildren, Madeline, Tyler, Wesley, Tristan, Madison, Kelsey, Mitchell, and his sister Debra Morgan and her husband Scott all from Cottonport. He was employed by Goudau Inc. of Cottonport. He is preceded in death by father, Loiston, mother, Anna Mae and brother, Bruce. Pallbearers will be his grandsons Tyler, Wesley, Tristan and brother-in-laws Keith and Ted Ducote, Vince Bertrand, Scott Morgan and his childhood friend, Bruce Dubroc. Cross Bearer will be his grandson, Mitchell Hukins. Gift bearers will be his granddaughters, Madeline Juneau, Madison and Kelsey Hukins. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Escude Funeral Home of Cottonport Monday, October 15, 2007 Christian Wake Service and Rosary will be Monday at 7 p.m. Funeral home will re-open at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday until 9:50 a.m.
