Lauren Elizabeth Rodney, 17, died in Plaucheville on February 20, 2009. Survivors include mother, Tara Tarver Rodney, father, Terry Rodney, sister London Victoria Rodney of Cottonport, brother, T. J. Rodney of Cottonport, maternal grandparents, Johnnie and Glenda Tarver of Plaucheville; paternal grandparents Steve and Debbie Rodney of Baton Rouge, paternal great-grandmother Lily Rodney of Baton Rouge; paternal grandmother, Deborah Watts of Baton Rouge; maternal great-grandmother Edith Watts of Golden, Mississippi. Visitation will be at St. Marys Community Center in Cottonport under the direction of Escud Funeral Home of Cottonport from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, February 23, 2009. A Rosary will be said at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, February 23, 2009 at St. Marys Community Center in Cottonport.
