Funeral services for Lee James Dubroc of Cottonport will take place at the St. Marys Assumption Catholic Church of Cottonport on Friday, September 30, 2011, beginning at 11:00am with Father Jamie Medina Cruz officiating. Visitations will be held at the Escud Funeral Home of Cottonport on Thursday, September 29, 2011, from 5:00pm to 10:00pm and will resume Friday morning at 8:00am. Burial services will commence at the St. Marys Assumption Cemetery 2.
Lee James Dubroc was an Avoyelles Parish School Bus driver for over 30 years, owned the business Lees Car Care for 35 years, and the Cottonport Fire Chief for several years. He passed away at the Grace Home Hospice Care Center in Alexandria on Wednesday, September 28, 2011. He is preceded in death by his parents, Adrion Avia Galland Dubroc grandchild, Justin David Clark. He is survived by his wife, Glenda Dubroc of Cottonport children, Tessa Dubroc Clark husband Danny of Cottonport, Tina Dubroc of Lake Charles, Brian Dubroc wife Malissa of Plaucheville brothers, Norris Dubroc of Shreveport, Evans Dubroc of Plaucheville sisters, Evelyna Desoto of Plaucheville, Barbara Dubroc of Cottonport, Sherill Firmin of Plaucheville grandchildren, Jamie Clark, Daniel Clark, Channing Dauzat, Caleb Dubroc, Derek Normand, Jacob Normand.
