Funeral services for Lela Rita Normand of Lafayette will take place on Saturday, May 8 2010 at the St. Marys Assumption Catholic Church of Cottonport, beginning at 9:00am, with Fr. Anthony Dhamaraj Fr. Raj officiating. Visitations will be held at the Escude Funeral Home of Cottonport on Friday, May 7, 2010 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm, and will resume Saturday morning at 7:30am. Burial services will commence at the St. Marys Assumption Catholic Mausoleum.
Lela Normand, age 85, passed away at her daughters home on Wednesday, May 5, 2010. She is preceded in death by her husband, Fabius Normand mother, Bridget Acy Marchand. She is survived by her son, Patrick F. Normand of Luling daughters, Alice Normand of Baker, Kathleen Hanks of Lafayette.
