Lena Desselle

Funeral services for Lena Vee Agnes Desselle will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 beginning at 10:00am in St. Peter Catholic Church in Bordelonville. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 15, 2018 beginning at 5:00pm until 10:00pm in the St. Peter Church Hall with a Christian Wake Service to be held at 7:00pm. Burial will take place in the church cemetery. Escude Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Ms. Desselle, 89, resident of Bordelonville, passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2018 in the Bayou Chateau Nursing Home in Simmesport. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Wilfred Bordelon and her second husband, Albert Desselle, Sr.; parents, Emile and Florence (Bordelon) Desselle; her brothers and her sisters.

Those left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Paulette Bordelon (Bobby Zulo) of Holden; sons, Donald Bordelon of Metairie, Gary Bordelon (Vickie) of Bordelonville, Al Desselle, Jr. (Brittany) of Baton Rouge; 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers, Gerard Jeansonne, Bobby Zulo, Chris Bordelon, Jeramie Bordelon, Al Desselle, Jr., & Eric Bordelon.
