Funeral services for Leola B. Sampson of Moreauville will take place at the Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church of Moreauville on Saturday, August 3, 2013, beginning at 11:00am with Father Martin Laird officiating. Visitation will take place at the Escud Funeral Home of Moreauville on Friday, August 2, 2013, from 5:00pm to 9:00pm and will resume on Saturday morning at the church beginning at 10:00am. Burial will commence at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
Leola B. Sampson, age 95, passed away on Monday, July 29, 2013. She is preceded in death by her husband, Julius Israel Sampson parents, Joseph Rosa Augustine Benjamin one grandchild brothers, Henry Benjamin, Dennis Benjamin, Hubert Benjamin sisters, Winnie Heggar, Augustine Rocio, Gertrude Benjamin, Freddie Mae Benjamin. She is survived by her children, Benjamin Sampson Ivory of Houston, Udavine Barnes of Houston, Stanford Sampson Ruth of Alexandria, Mildred Anderson of Los Angeles, Joan Sergent late husband, Sinnet of Alexandria, Jonny Augustine of Alexandria, Peter Sampson, Sr. Vivian of Allen, TX, Nancy Mathis of Crosby, TX sister, Geraldine Wilkins of Houston and twenty grandchildren thirtythree greatgrandchildren.
