Funeral services for Leonard Dauzart, Jr. of Simmesport will be held on Thursday, Novemeber 5, 2015 beginning at 11:00 a.m. in the Christ the King Catholic Church in Simmesport, LA with Father Dwight DeJesus officiating. Visitation will be held at Escude' Funeral Home of Simmesport on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and from 8:00 a.m. Thursday morning until time of service. Burial will follow in the Christ the King Catholic Mausoleum. Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of Escude' Funeral Home.
Leonard Dauzart, Jr., age 89, passed away on November 2, 2015 at his residence in Simmesport. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Minnie (Heatherwick) Dauzart, Sr.; son, Scott Dauzart; daughter, Kathy Firmin; grandson, Ryan Firmin and brothers Leon Dauzart, and James Dauzart, Sr.
He is survived by his wife, Dolores Whitmore Dauzart of Simmesport; daughter Lisa Watts of Simmesport; sisters, Dottie Lou Mayeaux of Simmesport, Billie Dove Scallan of Moreauville and Patricia Rice of Baton Rouge; granddaughters, Traci and Rayneke; great grandchildren, Khloe, Allison, Dylan, Preslie, Jasper and Ella.
