Lesester Firmin

Funeral services for Lesester Firmin of Simmesport will take place at the Christ the King Catholic Church of Simmesport on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 beginning at 1:00pm with Fr. Dwight de Jesus officiating. Visitation will be held at the Escud Funeral Home of Simmesport on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 from 5:00pm to 10:00pm and will resume Wednesday morning at 8:00am. Burial will commence at the Christ the King Catholic Cemetery.

Lesester Firmin, age 90, passed away at the Bayou Chateau Nursing Home Center of Simmesport. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bessie Smith Firmin parents, Levy Delcie Chesne Firmin brothers, Wilbert Levie Firmin sisters, Ludie Firmin, Betty Chevelle, Mable Lemoine, and Lonie Mitten. He is survived by his children, Delce Smith, Rosalie Louque, Clifford Firmin, both of Simmesport, Roland Firmin, Sr. of Moreauville, and Daniel Firmin, Sr. of Simmesport brothers, Ozice Deaky Firmin Nathan Firmin. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren fifteen greatgrandchildren.

Services and arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
