Funeral services for Leslie Friels of Mansura will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2015 beginning at 11am at the Christian Family Worship in Mansura with Rev. Vernon Simon officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2015 beginning at 8am until 11am at the Christian Family Worship in Mansura. Burial will follow service at the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
Leslie Friels, age 40, passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at the Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria. Those left to cherish her memory are her children: Cory Friels, Marquis Alexander, and Markeisha Alexander all of Mansura; mother, Jerris Blackman and father Lester Friels both of Cottonport; sisters, Debra Kyle, Collette Friels, Charlotte Prier, and Ethel Friels all of Mansura and Lutrina Friels of Little Rock, AK; and brother, James Prevot of Marksville.
