Funeral service for Lester Gauthier, Jr. of Cottonport will be held on Saturday, June 30th, 2018 at the St. Mary's Catholic Church of Cottonport beginning at 11:00am with Fr. Jose Robles-Sanchez officiating. Visitation will also be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church that morning from 9:00am to 11:00am. Burial will commence at the St. Mary Catholic Mausoleum #2.
Lester Gauthier, Jr., age 86, passed away at his home in Cottonport surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, June 27, 2018. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lester Joseph, Sr. and Addie Caillouet Gauthier; brother, Frank Gauthier; sisters, Beverly Gauthier and Elaine Broussard. Those left to cherish his momory are his wife of 62 years, Barbara Greneaux Gauthier; his daughters, Susie Millet (Bud) and Janie Primeaux (Jon); his sons, Brent Gauthier, Sr. and Sammy Gauthier (Jill Morrow); seven grandchildren, Jessica Gauthier Ford (Chris), Brent Gauthier, Jr., Dustin Gauthier, Sarah Wise St.Romain (Oran), Stefanie Wise Kellner (Kyle), Mackenzie Gauthier Williamson (Josh), and Sydney Gauthier; four great-grandchildren, Ethan Whitmire, Aaliyah Ford, Kayden Williamson, and Cassidy Williamson. He is also survived by his brother, Ryan Gauthier and sisters, Florence Decuir and Peggy Bordelon. Honored to serve as pallbearers are: Lester Greneaux, Shane Gauthier, Pierre Gauthier, Ted Gauthier, Jack Shen, Dustin Gauthier and serving as honorary pallbearers are, Leroy Goudeau, Arnold Firmin, & Floyd Armand.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the St. Mary's Assumption Catholic Church of Cottonport.
