Funeral services for Lillie Marie Gauthier of Hessmer will take place at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church of Hessmer on Saturday, August 6, 2011, beginning at 10:00am with Father Silverino Kwebuza officiating. Visitations will be held at the Escud Funeral Home of Mansura on Friday, August 5, 2011, from 5:00pm to 10:00pm and will resume Saturday morning at 8:00am. Burial services will commence at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Mausoleum.
Lillie Gauthier, age 87, passed away at the Valley View Nursing Home on Thursday, August 4, 2011. She is preceded in death by her husband, Merlin Gauthier parents, Wiltz Armadie Dufour grandchild, Scott Gauthier daughterinlaw, Bonnie Gauthier brothers, Sam Dufour, Paul Dufour, William Dufour. She is survived by her children, Elaine Gauthier Scallan, and husband James of Hessmer, Deanna Gauthier Humphries, and husband Odis of Ball, Linda Gauthier Ducote, and husband Anthony of Hessmer, James Ray Gauthier, and wife Linda of Palestine, TX, Huron J. Gauthier, Sr., and wife Sharon of Cottonport. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, twentyeight greatgrandchildren, and one greatgreatgrandchild.
Services and funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
