Services for Lily Thevenot Couvillion Ducote, age 94, of Cottonport will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 14, 2010 at St. Marys Assumption Catholic Church. Entombment will be in St. Mary Mausoleum 2, Cottonport.
Ms. Ducote passed away Thursday, August 12, 2010 at Valley View Nursing Home.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Coralie Moreau Thevenot father, Athanas Thevenot brothers, Otis Thevenot, Henry Thevenot, Herbert Hick Thevenot, Guy Thevenot, Murley Thevenot, Wiltz Bis Thevenot, Ury Ty Thevenot, Ory John Thevenot husbands, Magnus Couvillion and Huey Speck Ducote.
Survivors include her daughters, Marilyn Couvillion Gonzales and husband Luke of Lecompte Mary Ann Couvillion of Pineville sons, Hanson Couvillion and wife Rebecca of Huntsville, Alabama, Michael Couvillion and wife Kathleen of Cottonport seven grandchildren fifteen great grandchildren three step great grandchildren.
Visitation will be at Escude Funeral Home of Cottonport, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM Friday, August 13, 2010 with a Wake service Friday night at 7:00 PM and will reopen Saturday at 8:00 AM.
