Linda Gauthier

Funeral services for Linda LaCour Gauthier of Montegut formerly of Plaucheville will be held on Friday, September 11, 2015 beginning at 11am at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church in Plaucheville with Fr. Keith Ishmael officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 11, 2015 beginning at 9am until 11am at the church. Burial will be held at Mater Dolorosa Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
Linda LaCour Gauthier, age 58, passed away on September 9, 2015 at Grace Home in Alexandria. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Maddie & Birdine LaCour; paternal grandparents, Phil & Florence LaCour; maternal grandparents, Edwin & Anita Mayeaux.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 30 years, Michael Gauthier of Montegut; son, Prentice Gauthier of Montegut; brother, Paul LaCour; sisters, Alice Mitchell of Mansura, Dianne Strength of Tyler, TX, Florence Harwell of Lindale, TX, and Wendy Juneau of Colfax; aunts, Gloria LaCour of Plaucheville, Audrey Marks of Plaucheville, Nola Ortego of Kenner. She is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews, and a special friend Newt.
Linda enjoyed sitting on her porch in Montegut watching the shrimp boats float by. She also enjoyed gardening and sharing her vegetables to friends and family. She will be missed dearly and loved forever.
