Funeral services for Linda Wess of Mansura will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2009 at Little Zion Baptist Church in Longbridge at 1:00pm. Officiating the mass will be Rev. Vernon Simon. Visitations will be held at the church prior to the funeral beginning at 10:00am. Linda Wess, age 50, passed away at Avoyelles Hospital on Tuesday, July 7, 2009. She is preceded in death by her father, Theo Blackman. She is survived by her; mother, Mary Blackman of Mansura; husband, Francis Keith Wess of Mansura; sons Calvin Augustine of Mansura Kelvin Augustine of Mansura; daughter, Alacia Augustine of Mansura; sisters, Jennifer Smith of Port Arthur, Brenda Dawson of Bunkie, Shelia Dupas of Mansura, Priscilla Cookie Blackman of Alexandria, Charyl Anderson of Mansura, Melissa Baker of Lake Providence; brother, Lionel Blackman of South Carolina; father mother-in-law, Tommy Jessye Wess of Cullen. Funeral services and arrangements are under the directions of Escude Funeral Home.
